The Plays: The House with Two Doors

Once he’d read my Doctor of Honour, Robert decided he’d like to stage another Calderon play. We picked on this delightful comedy  formed our own company, and staged it on the Edinburgh Fringe.
It was a terrible venue, St Thomas Aquinas school hall, and we did really badly. On our best night, we had an audience of 23.
But they laughed.
And hearing their laughter made me understand I was a playwright.
